Realy like the design! It's rich in graphics but not cluttery! The pole going down all the way to the water is a great idea.
The only problem is that the size of the island (or land) illustration at the top eats up too much vertical space, and pushes the main content down (at least if your looking it on a 1280x800 screen with two toolbars in FireFox).
